Terms of Service

By accessing or using PLX Weather, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced within them. You represent that you have legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that your use of the service will comply with applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of the service. Forecast outputs and related analytics are provided for informational purposes and operational planning support only and are not a substitute for official directives, emergency management decisions, or professional judgment in hazardous conditions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Subscription access is granted on a limited, revocable, non-transferable basis and remains active only while the related plan is current. Paid plans renew automatically at the selected billing interval unless canceled before renewal, and pricing, taxes, and billing terms are disclosed at checkout or in your account portal at the time of purchase. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, attempted circumvention of technical controls, excessive automated traffic, unauthorized redistribution, or other conduct that materially harms the service or its users.

PLX Weather and all related software, content, branding, and forecast presentation materials are provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, defect-free operation, specific forecast outcomes, or fitness for a particular purpose. Weather systems are inherently uncertain and rapidly changing; model outputs may differ from observed conditions and may change without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PLX Weather and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, business interruption, or procurement of substitute services arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid by you for the service during the twelve-month period preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, security, or product changes. Updated terms become effective when posted unless otherwise stated, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PLX Weather regarding service use and supersede prior understandings on that subject.
